It was a cold night sleeping last night and we did not want get out of our sleeping bags.  Once the sun warmed the air we got moving.   Riding passed open pastureland it was cool to see herds of grazing deer in the early morning.  Although we see many deer in our neighborhood it is unique to see them in the wild open land.  The ride today was up and down over open pastureland.  We passed through one town Jackson Hot Springs where we stopped for Huckleberry ice cream before the final 18 mile ride to Wisdom.
The town of Wisdom consists of a gas station, church and two restaurants/saloons.  The campground is nothing more than a mosquito infested lot with a building housing showers and bathrooms.  We quickly set up our tents and move across the street to the Antler Saloon to get away from the mosquitoes.  We grab a corner table and hang out for several hours using the Internet connection, writing postcards and playing pool.  When it is time for dinner we cross the street to The Crossing B &G for something to eat.  Following dinner we head back to The Antler for more pool until the sun sets at 9:45.  You have heard the term bar fly, well I guess we were the bar mosquitoes, or at least hanging out in bars just to avoid the bites.
